Mark Haynes, AOPT’s Director of Public Communications and Public Affairs, said the behaviour is “repugnant, repulsive and highly reprehensible” and will not be tolerated. “It is reckless, senseless and must be repudiated,” Haynes said. “I strongly condemn this behaviour. I frown on this behaviour as it only seeks to bring the PSV sector into public disrepute.” Haynes is calling on all workers in the PSV sector to be of good behaviour and respectful “to yourselves, the general public, the police, the transport authority and whomever”. “Do not break or seek to circumvent traffic laws at no time. Be responsible and be professional on all the roads of Barbados. We can do better than this,” Haynes said.
