Yearwood remanded for illegal gun and ammo

Brian Ricardo Yearwood is now on remand at Dodds Prison charged with having an unlicensed firearm and 16 rounds of ammunition.

The 23-year-old of Merricks, St Philip appeared in the Oistins Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Deidre McKenna and was not required to plead to the indictable charges that he had a firearm without a valid licence and the bullets without a valid permit on September 26.

The matter was transferred to District ‘C’ Magistrates’ Court and will continue on October 28.
