CMC – An Air Canada flight was forced to make an emergency landing at the Grantley Adams International Airport on Saturday, following a medical emergency involving a 94-year-old German man.
The authorities report that flight AC 1724 from Montréal-Trudeau Int. to Barbados was met by emergency services.
It’s reported that the man – Heinrch Hamelbeck – was seated next to his 84-year-old wife Edith, when he moved to use the bathroom.
After he was gone for a while, his wife went to check on him and found him unresponsive in the bathroom.
Hamelbeck was pronounced dead on the aircraft.
The incident led to the cancellation of the return flight – AC 1725.

My former neighbor Margaret Lashley from Gall Hill My old mate (Bullurd`s sister) fell ill on board a plane back to the USA last week, the plane was diverted and she died, not a word was mentioned. She was in her early 60s. But this Bim, so that would not be news.
Condolences to the family
@JULIAN REIFER. Often times when such incidents occur, the foreign media in the early reports do not mention name or nationality of the person concern, and therefore the local media may not be able to pick up on it,unless informed by preferably by relative , or a close friend.
Condolences to this family as well
