A 23-year-old landscaper is currently on remand at Dodds in connection with a number of charges.

It is alleged that Atsu Kehinde Tese Jones, of Ealing Grove, Christ Church had in his possession a firearm and three rounds of ammunition without valid licences on July 11.

He is also charged with possession of a firearm with intent to commit the offence of endangering life.

Jones also faced a charge of unlawfully assaulting Andre Miller and Bradley Cutting on the same day.

The accused was not required to plead to the indictable charges when he appeared before Magistrate Alison Burke yesterday.

He will make his next appearance before the District ‘B’ Magistrates’ Court on August 17.
