Sheena Jordan’s outstanding academic achievements have not only brought her good grades, but she has copped a brand new laptop computer and a job attachment from the Charity which is headed by recycling magnate Anderson Cherry. Cherry who has been running the Big Brother and Big Sister programme for the past three years, recently presented Jordan with her prize following her grades in the “Pearson LCCI Basic” with merit, CXC EDPM Grade 3, CVQ in Data Operations and a Certificate in Nail Technology from the Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute (SJPI). “Jordan is one of two students at Ann Hill with spina bifida and even though confined to a wheelchair, she never saw her inability to walk as a disability,” said Cherry. “Sheena is a testimony that a positive attitude and determination can yield great results, and our company has offered her a three-month internship within one of our group of companies,” he proudly quipped as she received her donation.
