The Barbados Water Authority wishes to thank the public for their cooperation as the island prepared for the passage of Tropical Storm Gonzalo.

Remember that it is still early in the Hurricane Season and it is important to store an adequate supply of water for yourself, your family and your pets.

The recommended amount is five (5) gallons per person per day for at least five days.

Water should be stored in clean, covered containers.

The Authority’s Community Tanks are again available for use by residents and the tanker crews will continue to make every effort to assist persons in areas affected by water outages as a temporary measure.

The Barbados Water Authority continues to urge everyone to be prepared and stay safe.
