The level three travel warning was issued on Thursday on Travel.state.gov website. The brief advisory told Americans to reconsider travelling to Barbados ‘due to health and safety measures and COVID-related conditions’. The statement said,” The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a Level 3 Travel Health Notice for Barbados due to COVID-19. Barbados has lifted stay at home orders, and resumed some transportation options, and businesses operations.” To date the US has recorded 4.9 million cases of COVID-19 and 160,000 deaths while Barbados has recorded 133 confirmed cases and seven deaths.
