Update – Police identify shooting victim

Lawmen have named the victim of last night’s shooting which occurred at Golden Rock, The Pine, St Michael around 8:37 p.m.

He is 38-year-old Randy Selman, of No. 50 Golden Rock, The Pine, St Michael.

Police say Selman was discovered with a head injury after they received reports of gun shots being fired in his community. He was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) by private motor car for medical attention but was later pronounced dead and identified.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the District ‘A’ Police Station at 430 7242, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1 800 8477 or any police station.

Investigations are continuing.
