In a statement on Facebook, The Barbados Light and Power has blamed the outages on the inclement weather. The statement said, “Our crews are on standby to safely restore electrical supply as soon as the weather conditions improve.” Some of the communities affected are: Constant, Carmichael, Glebe, Newbury, Applewhaites, Andrews, Blackmans, Sweet Vale and surrounding environs, Dukes, Rock Hall, Hillaby, Lion Castle, Sturges, Welchman Hall, Castle Grant, Horse Hill and Easy Hall, Wildey, Upper Collymore Rock and the Pine, Ellerton, Greens, Woodland, Four Roads, Golden Ridge, Pool, New Castle and surrounding areas.
