The cases were identified from the 609 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory. The number of persons currently in isolation is 89. Since March 2020, there have been 3,965 confirmed cases of COVID-19 (1,916 females and 2,049 males) and 3,917 recoveries. Forty-six people have died from the virus. The public health laboratory has conducted 162,444 tests. As part of the National Vaccination Programme, 75,918 people have been vaccinated (first and second doses). This number includes 42,645 persons who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 during the second phase of the programme.
