Daniel Emmanuel Hinds, a resident of Mount #2, St Peter, was previously found culpable of indecently assaulting a female on June 15, 2018, and assaulting her with intent to rape. On Friday, he returned before the No.5a Supreme Court and was informed that a pre-sentencing report on his life was ready. It was read to him by Madame Justice Wanda Blair after he requested assistance. Among the findings was that Hinds was at low risk of reoffending. When asked whether he had anything to say with respect to the offences, Hinds replied: “It was a long time, Ma’am, that this case was going on and I haven’t done anything wrong.” He was told that on his next court date – July 2 – he could produce witnesses to speak about his character.
