Tropical wave to our east continued to struggle overnight. Convection with the tropical wave located near 300 miles or 480 km to our east has continued to weaken overnight.
Any development of this system is now very unlikely at this time as environmental conditions around the system are becoming less conducive for tropical cyclone development.
What to expect:
The system will continue to influence the weather conditions across Barbados and the southern Windwards during the
next few days. As a result, there is a possibility of some convective shower activity near and around Barbados over the next few days.
Recommendations to the public:
This will be a very active season, not only for tropical cyclones but also for significant rainfall events. Stay alert for updates from the
BMS throughout the season and be prepared.
This is the final information statement on this system.
