There were 1,705 tests conducted on Saturday, July 31. The number of persons in isolation is 122. Since March 2020, Barbados has recorded 4,407 confirmed cases of COVID-19 (2,141 females and 2,266 males). The death toll from the virus is 48. To date, 219,408 tests have been carried out by the public health laboratory. Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, 99,695 people have received first doses of the vaccines. Additionally, 76,248 persons โ 31,493 men and 44,755 women – have been given second doses and are fully vaccinated. This figure represents 28.1 per cent of the population.
