The number of tests conducted on Sunday, August 8, was 1,522. There are currently 111 people in isolation. A total of 4,480 confirmed cases of the virus (2,177 females and 2,303 males) have been recorded since the start of the pandemic. The death toll from the virus is 48. Tests carried out by the laboratory have reached 230,548. Public health officials have inoculated 100,512 persons with first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 80,245 people (29.6 per cent of the population) have received second doses and are fully vaccinated.
