Barbadians aged three years and older are invited to participate in an art competition, aimed at strengthening the voice of the Caribbean on climate change.

It is organised by the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC) and Belizean company, McNab Design Ltd, and is part of the European Union-funded ‘Enhancing Climate Resilience in CARIFORUM Countries’ project of the ACP Group of States.

Interested persons should create original pieces focusing on: ‘How has climate change affected me? What is my message to the world on Caribbean climate change?’

According to the CCCCC, entries will be evaluated based on: creativity, composition and clarity, theme interpretation, boldness, and issue impact.

To obtain more information on the competition, including the submission requirements, persons should visit www.mcnabvisual.com/climate-change-cariforum

All entries should be submitted by Tuesday, August 31, at 5:00 p.m. EST. (BGIS)
