The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory conducted 1,487 tests on Wednesday, August 11. There are currently 107 people in isolation. To date, Barbados has recorded 4,509 confirmed cases of COVID-19 (2,192 females and 2,317 males). There have been 48 deaths. Since February 2020, the laboratory has carried out 234,495 tests. Public health officials have administered 100,760 first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. The number of persons who have received second doses and are fully vaccinated is 82,733. These individuals represent 30.5 per cent of the population.
