The number of tests conducted on Thursday, August 19, was 1,559. There are currently 136 persons in insolation. Since the start of the pandemic, Barbados has recorded 4,628 confirmed cases of the viral illness (2,257 females and 2,371 males), and 48 deaths. The public health laboratory has carried out 245,843 tests. To date, a total of 101,732 first doses have been administered under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19.
