The facility conducted 1,350 tests on Friday, August 20. There are 138 people in isolation. Barbados has recorded 4,640 cases of the virus (2,264 females and 2,376 males) since the start of the pandemic in March 2020. There have been 48 deaths. Tests carried out by the laboratory have reached 247,193. Public health officials have administered 101,983 first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine under the National Vaccination Programme, while 89,683 persons have received second doses.
