Tests carried out on Tuesday, August 24, numbered 1,301. There are currently 176 people in isolation. Since March 2020, 4,720 confirmed cases of the virus (2,303 females and 2,417 males) have been recorded. Forty-eight lives have been lost to the viral illness. The public health laboratory has conducted 252,611 tests, since February last year. As part of the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, 104,678 persons have received first doses of the vaccines. Additionally, 92,025 second doses have also been administered.
