During the state funeral, held at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, Minister Abrahams laid a wreath and paid his respects on the passing of the twin-island state’s second prime minister and National Hero, who passed away on August 9, at the age of 83. Sir Lester was Prime Minister from 1994 to 2004. He also served as the first chairman of the Organisation of the Eastern Caribbean States.
