The Immunisation Unit is once more appealing to some factions of the public to refrain from starting rumours that are untrue.

Co-coordinator of the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, Major David Clarke, said that erroneous information is being circulated that nurses involved in the vaccination campaign have tested positive for COVID-19.

“This is simply not true and we are asking persons to stop sending out these false messages,” he stated.

He added that the nurses are well and are working diligently to ensure that the goals of the vaccination campaign are met.
