Barbados’ COVID-19 death toll rises to 52

A 66-year-old Barbadian woman died in the early hours of Friday, September 10, while in primary isolation at the Harrison Point Isolation Facility, the Ministry of Health has announced.

The woman had an underlying condition and spent 14 days in primary isolation before passing away. She was unvaccinated.

Her death brings to 52, the number of persons who have died from the virus.

Minister of Health and Wellness Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic has expressed sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
