The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory conducted 1,787 tests on Thursday, September 16. Of these 110 new cases, 30 persons are under the age of 18, and the remaining 80 are 18 years and older. There are 850 people in isolation. Three men, ages 51, 93, and 73 died on Thursday. They were unvaccinated. Their deaths bring to 57, the number of lives lost to the virus. Since March 2020, Barbados has recorded 6,358 cases, comprising 3,177 males and 3,181 females. The public health laboratory has performed 292,019 tests.
