There were 2,081 tests conducted on Thursday, September 23. Thirty-eight of these individuals are under the age of 18, and the remaining 129 are in the 18 and older age category. There are 857 patients in isolation. A 55-year-old Guyanese woman passed away on Thursday, after spending 22 days in isolation. Her death brings to 64, the number of lives lost to the viral illness. Since March 2020, Barbados has recorded 7,232 cases (3,577 males and 3,655 females). The public health laboratory has performed 304,765 tests. The number of first doses administered under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19 is 130,046.
