When Christopher St Clair Hinkson, 47, of Sinckler Road, appeared before Magistrate Manila Renee in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court he pleaded guilty to damaging a vehicle belonging to Shakira Tasker last Monday or was reckless as to whether such property would be damaged. But he said he was not guilty of assaulting the woman. No evidence was taken in relation to the criminal damage charge and both matters were transferred to the District ‘A’ Traffic Court for hearing on Monday. The accused was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 which he secured with a surety. He has also been ordered to stay away from the complainant until the cases are adjudicated before the court.
