The facility conducted 2,711 tests. The new positives comprise 92 persons who are under the age of 18, and 290 who are 18 years and older. There are 617 people in isolation facilities, and 3,283 in home isolation. Confirmed COVID-19 cases recorded, since March last year, stand at 13,553 (6,528 males and 7,025 females). As of October 18, 120 lives have been lost to the virus. The public health laboratory has carried out 362,204 tests since February 2020. Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of persons with at least one dose is 145,648 (63.8 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of persons who are fully vaccinated is 117,900 (43.5 per cent of the total population or 51.6 per cent of the eligible population).
