The facility conducted 2,830 tests. The new positives comprise 68 persons, who are under the age of 18, and 324, who are 18 years and older. There are 617 people in isolation facilities, and 3,666 in home isolation. Confirmed COVID-19 cases recorded, since March last year, stand at 14,326 (6,907 males and 7,419 females). To date, 124 lives have been lost to the virus. The public health laboratory has carried out 367,365 tests since February 2020. Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of persons with at least one dose is 146,106 (64 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of persons who are fully vaccinated is 119,195 (44 per cent of the total population or 52.2 per cent of the eligible population).
