Five more COVID-19 deaths; toll at 223

Four women and one man are the latest COVID-19 victims.

On Wednesday, November 24, two women, aged 72 and 84, died at the Accident & Emergency Department of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility, respectively.

The following day, Thursday, November 25, a 43-year-old woman lost her battle with the viral illness at the Accident and Emergency Department.

And today, Friday, November 26, a 77-year-old woman passed away at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility, while a 92-year-old man also died at the Blackman and Gollop Isolation Facility. They were all unvaccinated. Their deaths bring the lives lost to COVID-19, so far, to 223.

Acting Minister of Health and Wellness, Senator Dr. Jerome Walcott, has extended condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
