Four people, including two children were injured in a three-vehicle collision in St Michael  Sunday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to the junction of Station Hill Road, Bridge Road and Hindsbury Road just after 3 p.m.

The collision involved two motor cars and a fire tender that was responding to an emergency call, police said.

The fire tender was travelling from Bridge Road towards Bank Hall, while one motor car was travelling from Station Hill towards Hindsbury Road and the other travelling in the opposite direction when they collided.

The driver of one car complained of bruises to her right knee, right side and right arm. She, along with two children who complained of pain to their hips, were treated at the scene by ambulance personnel.

Meanwhile the driver of  the other car was taken away to the QEH for medical attention as she complained of pain to her head, neck and back.

Both motor cars were extensively damaged while the fire tender received moderate damage.

Investigations are ongoing.
