The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) advises residents of St Peter and St Andrew that today Sunday, January 2, it is carrying out emergency work on a pump at one of its pumping stations in St Peter.

As a result, residents of Alleynedale, Bakers, Coral Cliff, Maynard’s Development, Maynard’s Housing Area, Mile & A Quarter, Mount Brevitor, Mullins, Rose Hill, The Rock, The Whim, Black Bess, Diamond Corner, Castle, Gays, The Mount #s 1 & 2 in St Peter; & Mount Stepney, Rock Hall Village, Cleland Hill, Farley Hill and the immediate surrounding areas in St Andrew may experience low pressure or water outages while the work is being conducted.

The Authority’s tanker service will assist customers in the interim.

The Barbados Water Authority apologises for any inconvenience this emergency work in St Peter may cause.
