The new positives consisted of 157 persons under the age of 18 and 629 who were 18 years and older. The number of people in isolation facilities was 177, while 10,710 were in home isolation. A 69-year-old unvaccinated woman died on Monday, at the Harrisonโs Point Isolation Facility. As at January 31, a total of 281 people had died from the virus. The public health laboratory has carried out 539,980 tests since February 2020 and recorded 45,216 COVID-19 cases (20,969 males and 24,247 females). Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of persons with at least one dose is 158,705 (69.5 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of persons who are fully vaccinated is 147,190 (54.3 per cent of the total population or 64.4 per cent of the eligible population).
