Of the positive cases, 150 people were under the age of 18, and 564 were 18 years and older. Persons in isolation facilities numbered 158, while 12,300 were in home isolation. Two women, aged 38 and 63, died from COVID-19 on Monday. They passed away while at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility, and were both unvaccinated. As at February 7, the virus had claimed 288 lives. The public health laboratory has carried out 556,437 tests since February 2020, and recorded 49,372 COVID-19 cases (22,899 males and 26,473 females). The total number of persons who are fully vaccinated is 147,785 (54.5 per cent of the total population or 64.7 per cent of the eligible population).
