(BT) announced Friday the appointment of Hermina Elcock as the new General Manager of the digital media organisation effective 1 February, 2022. BT has been a leading provider of reliable news and media services to the island and the Barbadian diaspora for more than 13 years. Since joining the company in 2019, Elcock enhanced the company’s Sales division in her role as Sales & Commercial Content Manager. In her new role as General Manager, Elcock will now be responsible for developing BT’s vision and strategy, accelerating growth and implementing product and business model innovations in digital journalism, publishing, and content marketing. “Hermina is an effective and resolute young leader who has achieved financial successes for BT.
