The cases comprised 49 persons under the age of 18 and 189 who were 18 years and older. The number of people in isolation facilities was 97, and 2,601 were in home isolation. As of February 22, a total of 311 lives had been lost to COVID-19. The public health laboratory has carried out 580,098 tests since February 2020 and recorded 54,344 COVID-19 cases (25,242 males and 29,102 females). Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of persons with at least one dose is 159,920 (70 per cent of the eligible population).
