Of the 171 persons, 87 were males and 84 were females. From the new cases, 30 individuals were under the age of 18, and 141 were 18 years and older. There were 74 persons in isolation facilities, and 2,262 in home isolation. One Barbadian male, aged 73, succumbed to the virus on Friday, February 25, bringing the total number of COVID-19 deaths to 313. The public health laboratory has carried out 583,727 tests since February 2020, and recorded 54,902 cases (25,494 males and 29,408 females) of COVID-19. Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of persons with at least one dose is 160,024 (70.1 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of fully vaccinated persons is 149,281 (55.1 percent of the total population, or 65.4 percent of the eligible population).
