The cases comprised 29 persons under the age of 18, and 133 who were 18 years and older. The number of people in isolation facilities was 59, while 1,686 were in home isolation. As at March 2, there were 316 deaths from the viral illness. The public health laboratory has carried out 588,782 tests since February 2020, and recorded 55,705 COVID-19 cases (25,865 males and 29,840 females). Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of persons with at least one dose is 160,288 (70.2 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of fully vaccinated persons is 149,692 (55.2 per cent of the total population or 65.5 per cent of the eligible population).
