Of the 101 persons, 43 were males and 58 were females. From the new cases, 20 individuals were under the age of 18, and 81 were 18 years and older. There were 45 persons in isolation facilities, and 1,105 in home isolation. An unvaccinated Barbadian male aged 87 succumbed to the virus on Saturday, March 12, bringing the total number of COVID-19 deaths to 325. The public health laboratory has carried out 597,763 tests since February 2020 and recorded 57,023 cases (26,430 males and 30,593 females) of COVID-19. Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of persons with at least one dose is 160,629 (70.3 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of fully vaccinated persons is 150,337 (55.5 percent of the total population or 65.8 percent of the eligible population). The eligible population represents those persons who are 12 years and older.
