Of the positive cases, 15 persons were under the age of 18, and 82 were 18 years and older. There were 51 people in isolation facilities, while 1,068 were in home isolation. As at March 17, the viral illness had claimed the lives of 326 people. The public health laboratory has carried out 601,766 tests since February 2020, and recorded 57,548 COVID-19 cases (26,680 males and 30,868 females). Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of persons with at least one dose is 160,761 (70.4 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of fully vaccinated persons is 150,580 (55.6 per cent of the total population or 65.9 per cent of the eligible population). The eligible population represents those persons who are 12 years and older.
