March 26 Is Barbados National Day at the island’s pavilion at the fair and a grand concert featuring top Barbadian entertainers, including Arturo Tappin, Nicholas Brancker, Edwin Yearwood, TC, Peter Ram, Mahalia, and Riddim Tribe Dancers, will be hosted. On that day, patrons will also be treated to a taste of Barbados, with culinary delights in the Farrago Restaurant. Angela Daniel Rampersaud, one of the officers working in the Barbados pavilion, said interest in the country has been high. “Barbados is definitely benefiting from having a pavilion here, especially tourism. There are so many people who came into the pavilion and they came back and said, ‘Angela we are going to Barbados in April’, ‘we are going to Barbados in March’, ‘we are getting married there’.
