The two-day workshop, which will be conducted at Erdiston Teachers’ Training College, until Wednesday, April 6, runs from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. each day. Vice President of BAGC, Dr. Patricia Welch, will deliver brief remarks at the start tomorrow, at 9:00 a.m. Chief Education Officer, Dr. Ramona Archer-Bradshaw, is also expected to attend. The former guidance counsellor at the Lodge School, now a professor at Pennsylvania State University, Dr. Julia Bryan, will be its main facilitator. Dr. Bryan was recently awarded the American Counseling Association Extended Research Award and the Association of Counselor Education and Supervision Outstanding Mentor Award. She is also set to receive this month the recognition of the American Counseling Association (ACA) Fellow, one of the most prestigious honours in the counselling profession. She will be assisted by the Manager, of College Success Programs, Fairfax County Public Schools, Virginia, Dr. Lynette Henry.
