He is Anderson Busby, 31, of Green Hill, St Michael. Just after 11 this morning, police were called to investigate a very serious matter at Storey Gap, Codrington Hill, St Michael. Busby, who police said was the subject of an investigation into a number of serious matters, was seen walking in the area. Police said they attempted to arrest Busby but he resisted and evaded capture. Busby allegedly assaulted officers while attempting to avoid arrest. Police said he ran away and they gave chase on foot. The chase ended at a residence several meters away, where Busby armed himself with a piece of wood. Police say Busby attacked them, injuring a female officer who was struck to the right side of her head. She was transported to the QEH for medical attention.
