The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory conducted a total of 554 tests. Of this number, there were 24 persons under the age of 18, and 94 persons 18-years and older. There are now 48 people in isolation facilities and 2, 172 in home isolation. No deaths were recorded, and the number of those who died from the virus remains at 446. To date, the public health laboratory has carried out 685, 363 tests since February 2020, and recorded 80, 324 cases (36, 681 males and 43, 643 females) of COVID-19. Under the National Vaccination Programme for the virus, the total number of persons with at least one dose is 162, 355 (71.1 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of persons who are fully vaccinated is 152, 767 (56.4 per cent of the total population, or 66.9 per cent of the eligible population).
