Police said they received reports of gunshots being heard in the area of Blenheim Playing field. When they arrived at the scene, police learnt that a man who was walking in the area had suffered a gunshot injury. He was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private vehicle. A vehicle parked in the area was also damaged. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the District “A” Police Station at 430- 7242, Police Emergency at 211; Crime Stoppers at 1-800-(8477) or the nearest police station.
