The cases comprised 16 persons under the age of 18, and 71 who were 18 years and older. There were 24 people in isolation facilities, while 1,040 were in home isolation. As at June 16, there were 471 COVID-19 related deaths. The public health laboratory has conducted 696,504 tests since February 2020, and recorded 82,730 COVID-19 cases (37,695 males and 45,035 females). Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of persons with at least one dose is 162,526 (71.2 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of fully vaccinated persons is 153,199 (56.5 per cent of the total population or 67.1 per cent of the eligible population).
