Woman injured in single-vehicle collision along Walmer Lodge Road

A 22-year-old woman was injured in a single-vehicle collision along Walmer Lodge Road, St Michael, Saturday morning.

Emergency services were called to the area around 6:30 a.m.

Police say the injured woman was driving the vehicle and was the sole occupant.

According to police, the vehicle collided with a rock wall near the northern entrance to the Usain Bolt complex.

The woman was treated at the scene by medical personnel and was subsequently transported by ambulance to hospital for medical attention. She complained of head, chest and back injuries.
