The cases consisted of 73 persons under the age of 18, and 535 who were 18 years and older. There were 67 people in isolation facilities, while 3,406 were in home isolation. Three men died from the virus; an 88-year-old and a 91-year-old on August 5, and a 74-year-old on August 7. As at August 8, there were 505 COVID-19-related deaths. The public health laboratory has conducted 737,757 tests since February 2020 and recorded 95,876 COVID-19 cases (43,431 males and 52,445 females). Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of persons with at least one dose is 163,008 (71.4 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of fully vaccinated persons is 154,109 (56.9 per cent of the total population or 67.5 per cent of the eligible population).
