Goddard In all the talk about the NIS, no one has as yet given a reason why the scheme has found it impossible to give audited reports of its financials on an annual basis. Money is going into the NIS. Successive governments have dipped their hands into the NIS coffers to fund pro-jects, to invest, and only God knows what else. How can the actuaries, politicians and other experts be offering suggestions to make it more viable and long-lasting and Bajans do not have a clue how their earnings are actually being used because that scheme would not comply with rules governing the provision of audited reports. There is a huge hole in the bucket.
