Of the positive cases, 24 persons were under the age of 18, and 158 were 18 years and older. There were people in isolation facilities, while 2,320 were in home isolation. As at August 24, there were 537 deaths as a result of COVID-19. The laboratories conducted 751,854 tests since February 2020, and recorded 100,373 COVID-19 cases (45,371 males and 55,002 females). Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of persons with at least one dose is 163,163 (71.4 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of fully vaccinated persons is 154,348 (56.9 per cent of the total population or 67.6 per cent of the eligible population).
