Reco Rajon Eversley, 25, of Lower Estate, St George and 25-year-old Reinko Leroy Ryian Alleyne of Salisbury, St George were not required to plead to the charge of murdering Caroline Baird on July 22, 2022, when they appeared in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court this afternoon. The 44-year-old Baird, a Guyanese, was shot dead in an area at the rear of the Grand Stand of the Garrison Savannah around 11 p.m. Reports indicate that Baird was involved in a struggle with a number of people in a car. Both men denied committing two other offences which allegedly occurred on the same date. They pleaded not guilty to stealing a purse, wipes, condoms, a knife and sanitizer belonging to Natalie Lyder and they also denied robbing Stacy-Ann Heath of a bag, cell phone and keys. He is charged with stealing a Toyota Corolla car belonging to Reinko Alleyne between August 12 and 13, 2022. The two men will reappear in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on October 7, while Eversley will appear in the District ‘B’ Magistrates’ court on October 6.
