Among them are 12 Barbados Scholarship recipients made up of six students from Harrison College, five from Queen’s College and one from The St Michael School. In making the announcement on Wednesday, Minister of Education Kay McConney said that 21 students reached the standard to be awarded a Barbados Exhibition, 15 less than last year’s 36. Only six Barbados Scholarships were announced last year. One student from BCC received an Award of Excellence.
